They arrived today. They're as good as it gets IMO.
Came from Chemical Records in 3 buisness days, man that's fast. Photo of them below.
In the last 3 months, I have broken over $500 worth of headphones. I've snapped my DJ pair, my Production pair, and today my iPod pair. How does that all happen? They were all different brands, purchased at different times, they are different models and different styles. Is someone trying to STOP me from listening to music?
I've replaced my iPod headdies with the same model again, and have lined up some new production headphones - Sennheiser HD212 Pro. They are amazingly good headphones, and didn't cost the earth. The sounds are crisp and clean, the bass is solid the mids and highs are distinct. They are light, have leather padding.

I can't believe all of this happened within 3 months. And no, my head hasn't grown or anything like that.
EDIT: For my DJing headphones, I've gone and got the Sennheiser HD25's. They're pretty much so the Industry standard, and I've loved them EVER time I've used them.
Excuse that Glitch in the Matrix.
I was going to use WordPress coz I just like the interface and the support SO much better (and it wasn't having issues). I had it setup and imported all the posts, and it won't let me login anymore....I've recreated from scratch 2x, still can't login.
So I'm back here in good old MT :)
A very strange 24 hours for this site.
I got my decks back last night. Such a relief. When someone says "Get Technics" Get Technics. Having used Stantons for about 4 months, the difference is amazing. The touch, the pitch, the wobble, I'm having to learn how to beatmatch again for the 3rd time.
It's an amazing experience spending time forgetting how Technics works, as now, my ear is SO much sharper, as from using the Stantons I had too listen so much closer to what was going on.
Try it, respect other decks, but buy Technics Kiddies :)
Looks like my next hardware purchase is the CDJ800. A nice first CDJ and also something to give me a 3rd deck. I'm happy with the decision. Hopefully they're cheap ;) :P
EDIT< SORRY I SEE THIS IS MENTIONED IN THE DJ SECTION!!!
Firstly, sorry, i now this is music discussion, but this is big news and should eb seen by everyone!! Secondly, i apologise if its already bene posted, i coudlnt find anything.
The brand new technics CD/MP3 digital TT's. They are going to be shit hot when they are unvailed officially on the 7th of this month. This is the biggest push for the CD DJ world and these baby's cast big shadows over the pioneer cd-dj market. Also the mixer featured in the following pic is the technics mixer also to be unvailed on the 7th! features a full spinning platter and it is like mixing with vinyl 100%
The official quote from technics is:
"Technics are set to exclusively un-vale the new CD DJ turntable at this years Palsa .
The SL-DZ1200 is based o_n the Technics SL1210 turntable motor .
The big unvaling will be at 3pm o_n DJ Sunday (September 7th).
In addition they are set to showcase a new 4 channel mixer - with the same look as the SL-DZ1200
Palsa is o_n from Sunday 7th - Wednesday 10th September
ALSO: PLASA 2003 sees the UK launch of the SL-DZ1200 digital CD turntable, featuring full scratch facility via direct drive platter, cue save, on-board sampling and looping, SD cue point save, auto cue load, vinyl simulation and more. Also on show is the SH-MZ1200 4-channel mixer with digital in/outs, plus the full SL1200 turntable range."
It supports CDs, MP3 CDs, and SD cards (the memory card things)

Ripped of TA.

So, I'm looking @ adding to my setup. What should I get?
On one corner there's a Kaos Pad KP-2. Another corner contains the Allan and Heath XONE:62/64 Mixer. Another contains a Pioneer CDJ1000 and the last corner of my square contains a MP3J (or whatever they're called).
ARGH. All are NOT cheap. All have pros and cons. Where to go! Feel free to comment. I seriously have no idea :P
Got these AGES ago. Had the website in my favs until I posted a link to them on here. Done :)

I'm coming to the rapid conclusion that I'm aging. No longer are my ears able to go back to their normal non-volume state in a few hours. It's taking longer and longer, up to a day now.
To counter this, or help slow it down I've grabbed some earplugs.
:)
I'm the proud owner of a UDG Courierbag Deluxe. I've buckled under the pressure of too many people I know owning dex and me not bringing records I'd like to spin.
I went all WaD style and picked a Camo Bag :P

:)
I was driving back from Marlo's figuring out if I could use Milkdrop when I dj. I was doing the math cable wise and was getting 1+1=2. So I then thought OK, it goes into the line in on the PC, and i figure it all out from there. 10 mins later Milkdrop is playing on the puter and the TV playing in time(as far as the naked eye can see) to what I'm spinning. Talk about Nice One Burvva :)
